Embroidery

I have always enjoyed embroidery, and usually have something on the go. I have often created my own designs, but this latest project is a cross stitch kit. It is proving to be quite difficult, partly because the charts are badly printed and the symbols are not very clear. My latest solution is to take a close up photo of the chart on my iPad, and work from the enlarged screen.
When we were first married my mother-in-law obviously took exception to my hobby. She once said to me that my embroidery would be the ruination of our marriage! I am not quite sure how she worked that one out! Anyway, she got that wrong, we have been married now for fifty-nine years!
