Sweet violets

Bright sunshine today lifted my mood and I had a busy morning. It is amazing what a bit of sunshine can do. In the afternoon I wrapped up well for a walk up the road, but I soon turned back. There is still that cold wind. Before I got home I was pleased to spot these violets tucked in to the foot of our road marker.
So instead of a walk, the afternoon consists of cross stitch and rugby/cricket on tv.
