Waiting for the ice to melt

Today started out sunny and cold, it felt like -16C when I was out for my walk. I spotted a number of birds sitting on the ice. It seems at this time of year they sit and wait, that would be waiting for the ice to melt. By Thursday it could be 17C out and lots of melting will be going on. Check a few of my extra shots
