Getting A Grip On Chasing Pavements

Today's image was taken on a local 'photographic safari' with my brother. This is what we call a short stroll, usually on a Saturday, where we can't be bothered to walk very far, and challenge ourselves to spot an image.
For today's challenge I decided to limit my parameters even further by only trying to get an image of what was beneath my feet on the pavements we were walking on.
Therefore, this shot is of a manhole cover made of ductile iron (meaning the metal is able to be deformed into shapes without losing toughness - it has to be pliable but not brittle). It was manufactured by Thomas Dudley Ltd, a family business which has been running for over 100 years in the West Midlands. I like the yellow geometric shapes against the rusted surface and even that roundel bottle top and the green leaf as a bit of contrast.
Apologies for today's blip being a bit niche again and to Adele for paraphrasing her song title! :-)
