Willow

Goat Willow/Sallow/Pussy Willow, call it what you will.  Salix caprea anyway.

I was really pleased to get this small shoot with three stages showing clearly the development of the male flower: 1) silver hairy buds; 2) starting to break open; 3) full head of wonderful golden stamens.
