Discarded

D went off to his HS induction day and I went up the allotment - digging, sowing seeds, hoeing. Slightly overdid it. P. sprouting broccoli, leeks, radishes, wild rocket, dwarf-ish peas. Also took the house hyacinths up to leave them out to die down - noticed that previous years discards have come up nicely amongst the weeds.

D seemed to have had a good day, meeting up with some old chums and having a chat with the union rep.....
