Through west for more boat fiddling and sound insulation. Maybe earplugs would have been a better solution. Another dreich day through there. How did those folks stay dry on the west coast in ancient times? They probably lathered themselves in seal oil or something. I also got planning the trip north to Salen and sent a missive out round the “lads” - a tight timetable. Seems absurd to say it’s weather dependent. It’s dependable, that weather, all right. And as forecast, the sky lightened as the sun went down. Chilly outside but cosy in my bag.
