one bright spot in a dark world
The release of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe from years in an Iranian jail cheered me up no end this morning. I'm not ashamed to say it brought a tear to my eye.
I won't comment on the nature of the negotiations to free her except to say that we've been watching re-runs of Yes Prime Minister (originally broadcast in the mid 1980s). It's billed as a comedy - now it seems more like a documentary.
