Day 101 of 365 - A River Runs Through It!

Welcome to day 101 of 365 (Finished image after Editing)

The original photo was taken this afternoon overlooking the River Sowe. I was just outside the village of Stoneleigh in Warwickshire. Near to St Mary the Virgin Church. I has been an odd day weather wise today. Sometimes raining, sometimes Sunny. I was quite lucky this afternoon after I finished work as it was nice and warm and really sunny.

As always the shot was taken with my iPhone 5. The photo was taken using the camera App KitCam for iPhone and saved as a TIFF file before any editing. The original image can be found here: Unedited original Image.

First of all I used the editing function of KitCam to Straighten and edit the photo. The edits were made by adding the Clarify filter to sharpen the image. Next I applied a little Vignette using the Blowout Lens and the Oslo film. I then changed the White balance to cloudy, boosted the Ambiance, Brightness and Contrast. I also adjusted the White Balance a little. Next I used ScratchCam to distress the image with a custom set of scratches. I added a little lens flare to the top left of the picture using LensLight. Finally I used the App Distressed FX to add extra texture to the image using the Egret overlay and the Lade Texture.
