Lifeboats Office

The Lifeboats Office, Stromness.  This is the place where all the records are kept, and a small area is a shop for fundraising.

Extra 1 is looking down a slipway into the harbour.
Extra 2 is my Dad's old coffee jar complete with ground coffee, as he left it.  'dorsetb' blipped the inner workings of his own coffee percolator yesterday and it prompted me to open the coffee jar and remember special Sunday mornings when I was a kid.  Dad was an industrial chemist, so I expect this glass jar was 'borrowed' from the lab.
