Grey Heron

I went up to the loch a bit earlier today. I spotted the young one on the fence surrounding the loch. As soon as she saw me she flew over but had to circle to find a gap in the branches. She eventually landed in front of the dovecote. I started feeding her and she was fine even when a woman passed quite close by. She then heard a couple of schoolgirls heading down the path and was off. She landed at the drainage area of the loch and watched for me going over. I gave her the rest of her fish and she sat watching up the loch.
