Elephants at the Castle?

To day I went with a friend to visit the Elephant and Castle area of London which has been rebuilt recently. There is an ‘ Elephant Park’ with lots of different elephant sculptures etc. 
the blip is of the area where the old shopping centre used to be and on the roof, out of sight in this photo, you can see the old Elephant and castle  sculpture.
There are also lots of elephants made of metal, some of willow and some smaller painted ones commemorating 30 years of the Elmer the Elephant books…see extra of one of them.
This is an area which I am not familiar with. 

We also passed the Born Free lions again on the way back to Waterloo.
So lovely to have a blue sky and sun today.
