Welcome Home Surprise
We spent the day taking care of post-travel tasks. Just going through 10 days of junk mail wasted too much of our time. Hubby went to my mother’s to try and straighten out her latest credit card scams and other issues that arose while we were gone. The visit ended with a celebration - she let hubby close her account permanently. We will be ready to purchase anything she needs a credit card for. We expect her quality of life to immediately improve greatly. I gladly stayed home to finish the laundry. My Colorado sister and BIL gave us this amaryllis last year for Christmas. It is the very first one I have gotten to put out leaves the second year. Imagine my delight when I found a bloom this morning. Sure hope it opens before we head to WV again. We finished our projects and are now at our annual CareNet Pregnancy Center fundraising dinner. Hubby and a friend purchase a table and invite friends. This organization is very busy in our tri-county area. This is the first dinner since the COVID outbreak. Our local fire hall can seat 800 people and there was a waiting list for tonight’s event. It feels so good to have life almost back to normal. If only all folks in our world could feel the same way. So many need our support. Thanks for dropping by with your gifts of stars and comments. Be safe. And a Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all. “Open the bloom of your heart and become a gift of beauty to the world.”– Bryant McGill
