Bridal Crown

It's been a glorious  spring day. We went to the wildlife area to assist our friend  Colin in digging a hole ready for planting a special  tree tomorrow. Then M and I went  to check on the  bird nest boxes on the  village green. We couldn't  have left it any later to clean them out as  Great and Blue Tits  were calling, and watching us; they clearly have designs on the boxes as des res. this year. Then I planted out some primroses and  sweet violets, which I had grown from seed, in the green space in our road. 
This  afternoon I did some pruning of shrubs in our garden, and enjoyed the fragrance of the Bridal Crown  narcissi.
