What's the craic, Kilkenny?

Wonderful day escape to Kilkenny. I love walking around the town. It has the right mix of foreign tourists, Dublin day trippers, moneyed arty farty types and colourful locals. Throw a few medieval alleys into the mix, a castle, quite a few churches and a some decent galleries, dozens of pubs, a lot of very old walls, a brewery and a rather special cafe (cakeface) and you're on to a winner.
