One daze at a time...

And lead us not into temptation

There are very few bodies of water that I manage to resist... but I did resist this particular one.

Took Finn for a quick cycle to a nearby park, in an effort to unvelcro him from the couch and his phone.
I gained a valuable lesson in cycling karma in the process.

It was a bright, sunny, blowy day today. It was nice.

While Mimi went to sample some haute cuisine with her friend Sofia in Nando's, the rest of us opted for fish and chips on the sea front.
Checked the Fish Shack's menu online and at EUR13 a pop the fish and chips seemed on the high side. Turned out to be EUR14.5, my bad I should have realised that cod is mostly made of natural gas and chips of Ukrainian wheat. And you cannot expect businesses to keep up with the pricing update on their website, given how frequently they intend to readjust their price list in the coming weeks.
Hyperinflation had its practical limitations in Germany in 1923, when they couldn't print money fast enough and people needed a wheelbarrow of bank notes to buy a loaf of black bread. But we're all-electronic these days.
I'm sure the fish and chips will be €1,325 next week, unless you have some more stable Dogecoins in your Revolut vault...
