Dumb Luck

I have never been particularly competent photographing hummingbirds.  In my defense, I really don't have the proper setup and so I scare more off trying to get the right angle.  This was a fluke.  I parted the drapes, fortunately with camera in hand, and there she was, a female Anna's hummingbird just zeroing in on the feeder for a snack.  I took it as a good sign and snapped away.
