Two Cooks

An early start as we were off to pick up P&K and whisk them up Perth for a cook school, run expertly by Sanjay Kumar of the Kumars at no 38. My celebrated curried omelette may in future be accompanied by more than a defrosted pitta bread.
Back, and after a brief napette, out again to the daughter’s to babysit the wee minky, who was as good as gold and after her milch and a couple of reads went down to sleep without protest.
That gave us time for a film - The Hand of God by Paolo Sorrentino. What a terrific film - an autobiographical coming’s of age film - with Maradona very much in the background. Fellini! Wes Anderson! I see it’s a nominee for the Oscar for Best International Feature Film. Will win? Should win!
