Tide Predictor

Summoned to the daughter’s to be a handyman and put up a new outside light (extra). It worked! Well, not surprising really as there was one there previously.
Then onward to meet the son who was in good form. We sat in the sun outside a Turkish cafe in Elm Row and then strolled on to John Lewis (his birthday is upcoming and he wants a laptop - a Chromebook, I may stretch to).
Back and out later to the bell block with a little can of beer to discuss the boat club website with the sailing sec and a new member who is a bit computer literate. Indeed he is. It is soon apparent he has a brain the size of a small planet - he's written code which can predict tides from the moon’s position! As well as flying drones from a balloon at over 60,000ft. And flying a hang-glider. And he installed a weather station on the roof. I can see a succession plan coming to fruition.
