Italy
Himself was up early to go and set up at his Parkrun so I took advantage and.... stayed in bed for another hour.
I did eventually get up, (moved the cats and) stripped the sheets, went for my own run and went to get the papers before he was back and then, after breakfast and a bit of Saturday Kitchen finally made it to the allotment to dig over the bed the potatoes are going in a few weeks. It wasn't as bad as it could have been as it's been covered for the past nine months but it's heavy soil that gets compacted very easily and it took me a good couple of hours. I'll have to do it again before planting time.
Back for lunch then I decided it was time to plant some more seeds. I sowed flowers last week so today it was courgettes, pumpkin, broccoli, broccoli raab and artichokes. And some sunflowers and marigolds. I also had another go at some more bluebells, I've thinned out about 60% of them now.
In between all that I was called in to watch the most amazing final score from Italy. I have Italian cousins as well which made it even nicer (and a Welsh Great grandmother).
That's it for activity now,; sofa, rugby, gin and a very nice looking chicken curry being cooked a bit later is the plan for the rest of the day.
