If you go down to the woods …

The beautiful weather encouraged us to go for a long walk this morning. We took our litter pickers with us and filled four bags of long term rubbish. Long term, because we have noticed this litter on our regular walks through the winter. Today, before the spring growth took hold we removed everything we could see.

The steam train rumbled along the embankment above the village.

A feast of 6 Nations Rugby took place this afternoon and evening. Italy did really well to win in Cardiff. Scotland lacked their pre season promise and lost in Dublin to finish fourth. France showed England what it was like to win the Grand Chelem!
