More Hellebores
Heatwave?? well it didn't show its face in our part of Shropshire, in fact the weather deteriorated very quickly after a beautiful and bright early morning (that'll teach me to have a bit of a lie in!!). However, Mr. T did manage to drive up the big hill (Burway) to the Gliding Club on the Long Mynd gliding. He has just rung to tell me that the journey was OK but there is still lots of snow on top, some of which is still up to the members' caravan windows, (one of which belongs to himself) and if you do want to visit the link then click on to what happened yesterday and then scroll down to the Aerial photos of the Mynd, click on that and scroll down again to Ice Station Mynd and you'll see what I mean - T managed one flight early this morning but now the bad weather has set in so no more flying for the day - but T and all the other brave aviators who have got up to Ice Station Mynd will be staying put for the night. I bet the bar opens early and I hope T has put the heating on early in the caravan as I don't think the bedding will be very well aired - still he'll be in 'Scott of the Antarctic' mode by now, I am sure!!!
As for me, then I stayed at home as I wanted to take my new(ish) camera out for a spin but as I said the weather is horrid so didn't stay out for too long and now I'm doing loads of indoor jobs (when not playing on blip, or with photos). Housework seems to be much more demanding when I've got my specs on!! #1 daughter pointed out cobwebs the other day, cheeky thing!
Hope all of you who are in the heatwave??!! are out enjoying it.
I believe that the emotion I am feeling now is one of the Seven Deadly sins.
