Mappledurham lock

I met up with a friend this morning for a short walk alongside the Thames from Pangbourne to a little coffee shop on the outskirts of Tilehurst. Good weather, good company, and a nice cup of tea and a toasted tea cake at the halfway point. We haven’t met up since June last year apparently so it was good to catch up on all her news.

The afternoon was spent mowing the grass and lounging on the sofa in front of the Formula One - Paul was watching more than me!
