I don't know if you are listening to “Letter from Ukraine” on R4 on a Sunday morning, but if not, I can highly recommend it. It's by Andrey Kurkov, who wrote “Death and the Penguin” which I read when it was very new, and I can highly recommend that too.
This is the home of the Russian billionaire refugee (not an oligarch when the Kremlin doesn't allow you to sit at that big table). I see he's got scaffolding up so I'm kinda hoping he's getting some of his spare rooms ready to take in refugees.

I rather enjoyed this peer's response to Boris' nauseating remark that “it is the instinct of the people of this country, like the people of Ukraine, to choose freedom every time”
Lord Barwell, who served as Theresa May's chief of staff in No 10, said: "Apart from the bit where voting in a free and fair referendum isn't in any way comparable with risking your life to defend your country against invasion, and the awkward fact the Ukrainians are fighting for the freedom to join the EU, this comparison is bang on."
But of course Boris made it even worse when he continued with “When the British people voted for Brexit in such large numbers” as though he had entirely forgotten that the split was in fact 52:48 which is a percentage you cannot achieve with a sample of less than 50.
Compare that with how many sets are required to decide the outcome of a tennis match.
