UNDER MOTHER'S FEATHERS

the three goslings crept after they had eaten the pieces of bread I brought them, of course the parents and the coots and the pigeons ate of it.
But now and then one crept out, looked around and did go back to the warm spot.
In the afteroon the sun came out and suddenly it feels so different.
Mischa and I went shopping at the garden centre for some plants on her balcony, but we too bought pants with flowerprint, spring is here, at least.

My haiku:

Goslings very small
Have streetwisdom even be-
Fore they went to school

And the proverb by Thomas Morton:

What will Mrs Grundy say?

In a play called Speed The Plough by Thomas Morton first produced in 1798 Mrs Grundy is the symbol of conventional propriety. She is not a character in the play but is referred to as what she would think of everything.
