Almscliffe Crag

This morning we travelled to Panell to meet up with my brother, sister-in-law and niece, who were staying in a self catering place. It was lovely to see them for the first time since the pandemic. But the main reason for our visit was to meet the newest member of our family, my gt-niece. She is 3.5 months old now and what a delight! We both really enjoyed meeting her and, of course, there were a lot of photos, including one of the four generations. However, no photos are allowed on social media so I can't introduce her to you. 

We all went out for a short walk before lunch and then later I went out for another walk with my brother, up Almscliffe Crag. It brought back many memories as we used to go there a lot when we were children. I haven't been for about 20 years. 

We stayed for an evening meal and then a game of Yorkshire Monopoly. A fabulous day seeing the family.
