Number four.

A perfick day apart from the rain this afternoon.

Up to walk the dogs in the sun.

Did a bit more to help Mrs DD with the new bedroom makeover then a quick shower before a cycle into Oswestry. Home to Four Crosses, New Bridge, Llanymyneth, Ckrickheath, Morton, Maesbury Marsh where I joined the canal at the Navvy. Along the canal to the Queens Head where this was taken - and that's only a half!

Then to Whittington and finally Oswestry in time for the Grand Garden Opening at church where, amongst other things, the choir was singing a couple on songs. Pity it rained a little but spirits were not dampened particularly as there were cream teas and wonderful cupcakes being served.

I knew Oswestry was higher than home but Strava told me that I had climbed 370 feet on the journey.

Home then for rack of Welsh lamb with asparagus and new potatoes, complimented, as per the recipe in the Border County magazine, by a rather nice bottle of Pino Noir.

Quiet evening reading and then early night.

Perfick!
