Material world

Sunshine this morning and thought I would be able to get out into the garden but the clouds soon arrived and it has been raining most of the afternoon. So nothing to do but go out for lunch and nice glass of wine.

Have recently started to regain my interest in sewing, probably helped by the Sewing Bee but used to make lots of clothes many years ago. Now that I have the time again I'm hoping to brush up my skills and get creative. So this afternoon I started to go through all my old sewing stuff and found this lovely material - the colours brighten up this dull day.
