Spent all afternoon in the garden, weeding and spreading 10 bags of well rotted horse manure which was delivered yesterday. Felt very satisfied with a good days work but alas no blip again - but then just as I was just clearing away I noticed a very large bird flying above and it landed on the rooftops at the end of my garden. Raced inside to get my binoculars and was amazed to see that it was a heron - unusual as I live in the middle of a town with no water for miles.
This is the best I could get with the zoom on my small camera but at least it is recognisable by its silhouette.
