Still Threatening

The rain overnight was all that it promised to be: incessant and very heavy. 

By this morning, it had paused but was promising to return in fits and starts all day.

I went up to the hostipal for 11:15 to see my surgeon.

All the consent forms were duly signed and an approximate date of late June - early July, mas o menes, was given. We shall see.

I had to make numerous other appointments for X rays, ECGs and whatnot, so the trip took all morning and half the afternoon.

Still, it is the next big step and so there does appear to be light at the end of the tunnel.

Just hope it's not a train coming.
