Confused

I’m back blipping and getting hopelessly confused about what day is which.

Mainly I’ve been sat at a laptop or making phone calls. There’s an awful lot of admin in setting up a large humanitarian response. Things are going relatively well though. Our teams arrived early and we’ve been able to move fast, helped by the fact that sadly we have done this many times over. The last big refugee influx I worked on was when a million Rohingya people fled Myanmar during a horrifically brutal assault by the Government on top of years of the most astonishing repression and human rights abuses taking place in the world today.

I hope that the focus on refugees from Ukraine will also create greater understand towards and support for all refugees.
