Abbey Mill

Another lovely day today, if a little misty.  We decided to go to Tewkesbury  which is South of Worcester and North of Gloucester.  It is a beautiful historic town and we hope to visit again some time soon to see a little more of the area.

The area in the main shot is of the meadows were the Rivers Avon and Severn meet.  It is well known for the flooding it endures from both those rivers.  This shot is of the Abbey Mill which provided for the monks at the Abbey for many many years.  The extra is a shot from inside the Abbey which has some exceptionally intricate stone work and angles and hidden shots to work on.  The light was a little tricky in there today but the peace and the beauty were sublime.  A place of deep prayer and thoughtfulness.

Our little warrior Louie was due to go into hospital tomorrow for some treatment but it has been put back to a future date - so many arrangements to unmake!
