Lots of trees with blossom

This is a blip of some Year5 art work at the school which two of my grandchildren attend. This evening they had an Art and Science Open Evening with lots of displays in the classrooms as well as display of artwork in the gym. In the gym there was one piece of artwork by every child, nicely mounted like these, which parents were encouraged to buy…to raise money for school funds. Several already had sold signs on them and of course we bought the ones done by the grandchildren..a tiger and a turtle following their zoo visit ( they are in the reception class) Each class had a theme and the artwork by each child was in many different styles and techniques and they were all very effective.

It was nice to actually go into the school as even the parents have not yet been in for face to face meetings with parents for two years.

The standards of work are so much higher than when my children were at school.
