Strange Bird?

We had our 20-year-old roof replaced today, and photo opportunities abounded, as long as we stayed well away from the hardworking crew and their equipment. 

I took the main blip looking out the large window in our bedroom. The silhouetted roof shingle doesn't really look like a bird, but it does look as if its mouth is open. (I have a vivid imagination...)

There are a couple of extras, one showing the view from inside our house looking out at the deck in back, where some of the shingles landed, and another showing the trio of vehicles parked outside the house all day. I liked the colorful artwork on the company's vehicles and we appreciated the excellent work -- and thorough clean-up -- that the crew did.
