Idea of Tulip

I had great idea but it didn't work out. I attempted to Chinese Paint these tulips and then I wanted to enter them side by side with the photo. Well, they were really difficult to paint so I gave up. But I'll give you this. The Chinese name for tulip is Yu Chin Shiang. The word "Yu" can mean two things. It means cheerful, abundant growth; on the other hand it means feeling pent-up, despondent. "Chin" is gold, and Shiang" is fragrance. The golden fragrance of the tulip can be cheerful or despondent, depending on how it is treated by the sun. I am like a tulip living in Portland, Oregon. I get happy when sunny, pent-up when not. Oh well.
