The fine weather…

continues and produced activity first thing with the squirrels. Sitting drinking the first coffee of the day in the garden I watched the squirrels emerge from the Pines. The climbed into the Rowan and mated! They then spent a while grooming before returning to the Pines to feed on the fresh cone tips. The extra shows the happy couple peeping out coyly!
A walk in the sand hills completed a very pleasant day. Skylarks, Lapwings, Oystercatchers and Pipits were singing and I disturbed a pair of Snipe in a pool.
