In Windsor Great Park

The Post Office in Windsor Great Park which presumably was built in the reign of George VI. Near the Post Off ie is a school, cricket pitch and many houses for estate workers which look of the same vintage.
I was cycling past with two friends, we had taken the train to Windsor and were cycling back to Hampton Court along the Sustrans route 4. I have done this before but prefer to go in the other direction ending in Windsor as there are less hills to cycle up that way!

We did not stop at the Post Office today but do sometimes as it sells drinks and snacks.

Lots of the route is alongside the Thames and I particularly like the stretch between Staines and Chertsey. We waited until we got to Walton on Thames to have lunch sitting outside the Anglers pub overlooking the river which was lovely on such a sunny day.

Feeling tired now after 30+ miles!
