Gathering for climate

The early morning was spent at the medical centre, seeing a doctor about my will to speak to a specialist about my problems with an assumed psoriasis arthritis. This was my fourth visit to the centre about the same issue, new doctor every time, new angles to the problem, new investigations and questions. I remember thirty years ago when our government suggested a health-reform where we all was going to be assigned to a house-doctor, in order to get a more personal  relation to our medical institutions. The idea being that when I'm ill, I get to see my regular house doctor, who knows me and my medical history, so that we together can make a plan best suited for me and my needs. We even got to choose which house doctor we wanted in the medical centre. A good, Swedish idea. I can say that I haven't once in thirty odd years seen the same doctor twice. Doctors usually use the medical centres as a start of their medical careers and doesn't stay very long at the same place. Todays doctor was young, pleasant and  very ambitious, ordering blood tests and an x-ray of my hand plus making a physical examination to decide our next step. He said that he wanted to do a follow up on todays meeting in a couple of weeks to evaluate. I guess I will never see him again. 
Sorry about the rant, I hadn't planned to write any of that. 

The rest of the morning was spent preparing for my meal with my friends who helped me to move. We're having a fish casserole with starters and a desert. The last stages can be prepared right before my guests arrive tomorrow evening. Cleaning the house is on the schedule for some of tomorrow.

In Kalmar, was a "Gathering for Climate" this evening with speeches, music and a short march. I had promised to help organising some tables for an exhibition and maybe to help with the music, if needed. There was no need for help but the gathering itself was well organised, the speeches was also very good. I couldn't help but noticing that the people organising the demonstration looked just like the people organising demonstrations in the seventies. Those people was also there this evening, the organisers was their children or even grand children. The Ukraine was mentioned quite a lot too, as well as being a war, it also has a vast impact on our climate for years to come, not to mention the loss of confidence between people.
