Ice cream!

D was so excited to see this in the foyer of the South Bank's Queen Elizabeth Hall. It was hard to stop him from touching... or worse licking... it. Took him to classical music for toddlers today - the grown up Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment do concerts specially for small people where you can make a noise (in fact are encouraged to do so) and the musicians come into the audience. D was mesmerised for much of it, occasionally giving us a huge smile or clapping when asked to. Afterwards we explored a bit more of the South Bank's South Asian festival - of which this icecream artwork is part. We are back tomorrow for a British/Asian children's musical theatre performance. Loving our cultural weekend, but would really like to have gone to Anoushkar Shankar's performance this evening....
