... more or less around the corner from us, on a warm sunny day.   We spent it in part recovering from last night's extensive dinner. That included a long walk on streets we had seldom followed before, including this unfamiliar view.

Madeleine Albright died Wednesday. She was a close friend of Hillary and Bill Clinton, and Secretary of State under them. Hillary wrote an extensive, warm tribute in the New York Times, noting that they had both attended Wellesley College in Massachusetts:  "Madeleine was 10 years ahead of me at Wellesley, and for decades we used to sign our notes to each other “Dear ’59” and “Love, ’69.” (the years they graduated).
