Les Baux de Province …

… which we visited this morning.

We drove to this beautiful area of limestone hills and wandered through the lovely village of Les Baux. We had visited it many years ago on a birding tour looking for wallcreepers in the rocks.

In the afternoon we walked through St. Remy and visited the psychiatric hospital where Van Gogh spent a year painting some of his most famous works.
