Tea stop…

It’s been a beautiful day and we needed to be out in it after the shock of yesterday. To remember and talk about Margaret and to celebrate and be grateful for the good health we are blessed with. Never taken for granted.

After my park run we headed for Andrew’s Wood near Badgers Mount off the A21 and walked to Shoreham. Lots of uphill to begin with then down into the village where we stopped for refreshment at this tea room and small aircraft museum. We sat outside in the sunshine.

Then through the village just to take a look at The Mount, a very expensive eating place and champagne bar. Lots of people there, inside and out.

We retraced our steps with more steep up and down hills and must visit again soon as the bluebells are pretty fantastic here a little later in the year.

A Sisters’ Zoom booked for tomorrow evening when we’ll be planning Valerie’s visit in a week’s time during her chemo free week.
