Mom is 96 today:-)

Took the drive up to Kamloops to spend some time with Mom on her 96th birthday.


Born in Krakow, Poland, Mom has lots of stories about hard times...coming to Canada as a young girl and living in a 250 sq foot home with her parents and 7 brothers. Working the land was a hard life...lots of potatoes.


My wife picked out some wonderful chocolates and I of course got her some of her favourite flowers...yellow roses.


BTW...yes she did....beat me at 500 rummy....again:-)
