Just What We Needed
Fellow blipper MaryJo and I were headed to the tulip fields this morning for what we were sure would be a blipper's paradise of acres of spectacular tulips in every color. Look what we got instead -- snow. And it was cold -- really cold. Took the wind out of my sails I don't mind telling you.
Those of you, wherever you are in the world, who have actually been digging out from under the stuff this past winter will laugh I know but, believe me, I do know what that's like having lived in Montana for almost 10 years, and Montana knows how to do snow. This is not really snow, just a minor aggravation, but since we haven't had any this winter at all, we have to make a big deal of it. As is typical, it was gone by the afternoon and the sun cane out. Unfortunately, I never warmed up at all. I spent the entire day snuggled up with Snuffy and Lizzie in my little apartment (which by the way, is in the basement of the house on the right). Anyway, the tulips are still there I'm sure so we'll take another run at them soon.
