The view from my lockdown bench

Two years ago, during the first lockdown,  I discovered both this old oak tree and a bench with a view of it. The bench looked in need of painting, and still does. (See extra) It was all because I saw that other folk have gardens to sit in, and I didn't, and still don't. I had a fantasty about painting it and claiming it but I did neither. The whole episode features in a short story I am very fond of.
