Enough To Make You Weep

The Crying Angel from Falmouth Cemetery, always with flowers in her arms, is one of the most visited memorials in the cemetery.
It’s a while since I posted a photograph of her but as Paddy decided to rest on the grass beneath during our walk I took this one.

The early part of the morning was spent at the opticians getting my eyes looked at as part of my post cataract check up. These check ups are ok and necessary but whilst undergoing them at the back of your mind you are waiting for the punchline, “all done, your new glasses will cost £…..” and today proved to be no exception, fifteen months after my last glasses my new ones come in at £300.

The angel is not the only one whose eyes are watering!
