meals and deals!

awake a 5am, and then up at 6am. Chinese GP Quali, so a lazy start on the sofa, 2 cuppas. a beautiful morning, washing done and out, second load in.

shopping done, car washed, and then called in at mums for a cuppa with her and Peter.

had turned cloudy by the time i was ready to set off walking with Pete. and now a spot or two of rain. off we set, over the fields and up through Watnall Wood, and back out down the side of the Wood cottage. Pete loved it, racing through the fields, ploughing through muddy pools - looked like he was wearing black socks!

we came back via the brooks and i encouraged him to go down the bank into the water. got a great shot, but came out blurry of him jumping in it! fab, that was him bathed!

home, and then off to pick up a garden gate from Wollaton, a lgood little ebay deal. it was chucking it down now.

off out again tonight to meet Jo and Ruth for dinner at the Rose and Crown. i have got a big black mark against my name from Pete....3 nights out on the trot!
