George ( and Harry ) and Paladian and Rower2012

We had a great blipmeet today visiting George and Harry at home and a personal guided tour of Old Government House. Paladian and Rower picked us up from our Hotel in Adelaide and we had an interesting few hours looking at furniture, paintings, pianos (I got to play Rower’s new antique grand piano) sewing, lithographs, gardens, OGH and the list goes on. We had plenty to talk about. Both Paladian and I have painful backs so could sympathise with each other. We were very grateful for their hospitality and look forward to them visiting us in Bathurst.

In the extras are some pictures of the display at OGH. They have done a marvellous job getting it to this stage with new ideas bubbling for future expansions.The river scenes are of our final leg of the cruise along the Murray River. It’s quite peaceful and beautiful out there only an hour and a half from the city.
