New paints

This is a small ‘travel’ box of watercolour paints, just about 11cm x 14cm, but there are twice as many colours as my old box.

I’ve been messing around on postcard-sized paper with the tiny brush. I’d like to do a painting of Scrabo Tower but I don’t want it to be a regular landscape. I’m not really sure how I’d like to present it!

Maybe I’ll try a few random lines and minimal colour next and see what that looks like.

It’s very enjoyable, playing with paints. :-)
