Sara and Steph and the Saturday Station Swing

Off with the dogs in the campervan to a different part of Pembrokeshire's ancient woodland at Minwear and a soggy walk with our friend Steph. Ancient woodland is classified as woods in constant management since the 1600s and we saw a couple of venerable oaks that were well over a century, judging by their huge girth.

Steph's husband Maurice is lead singer in a Swing band - The Numbers Racket, a Pembs based seven piece band that plays all over the UK and Ireland. Tonight was a local gig in the The Station in Pembroke Dock, an intimate and atmospheric watering hole in what were once, presumably, the station waiting rooms. The band were brilliant and we had a great evening before retiring to our camper, the dogs and a wild, windy night camped in the woods.
